Every place that takes trades always asks "How much are you looking to get" to which I always reply "As much as I possibly can.At Kidadl we pride ourselves on offering families original ideas to make the most of time spent together at home or out and about, wherever you are in the world. Never tried negotiating, I'm not going to drive up there if the price isn't acceptable on whatever has me making the trip. Every place that takes trades always asks "How much are you looking to get" to which I always reply "As much as I possibly can." Just traded a bunch of cool stuff I hardly used for a couple of cool things I'll probably hardly use. It's worth keeping an eye on the one closest to you, sometimes worth the trip for me even if it's an hour +. Prices range from slightly higher than I've seen elsewhere to a good bit lower, not counting the prices on things I've never seen anywhere else. OTOH the MGR nearest me usually has something cool, also a few bizarre things I've never imagined which are sometimes cool. The return policy at Guitar Center is tough to beat. I would need to check anything out first hand before buying. MGR stores are franchises, I don't know if that means the store has more or less pricing discretion than Guitar Center and the like. Used Epiphone LES PAUL STANDARD BASS Bass Guitar Sunburst | Bass Guitars | Music Go Round $370+shipping is about what they go for (though sometimes you see these real cheap if you look for them.) The idea was that with the two volume knobs and the switch, you could use the pickups in every combination possible (15 different sounds, I believe.) The "normal" preamp probably is just a standard passive wiring or possibly, a T and B control. I state normal as these came with twin volume knobs, one tone knob and a 5 way switch that ran the pickups back and forth (single coil, parallel and series) in a number of different combinations. ![]() This one has had the pickups, and possibly the preamp, changed (and, probably upgraded.) Has EMG-HZ pickups and "normal" preamp. These are wide spaced 5 string Epi's that look and play really nice. Used Carvin BUNNY BRUNEL Bass Guitar Wood | Bass Guitars | Music Go RoundĮpi Les Paul 5 string. This seems to be a fair price for this bass, but it sure is a nice looking version of the bass, and these are really nice basses! Everyone that I have played, plays wonderful Carvin BB75 for $800+shipping: Used Tobias RENEGADE 4 Bass Guitar Red | Bass Guitars | Music Go Round (BTW.this is the same tool that older USA made Guild instruments used.) Anyway, it may be an extremely easy fix if someone lives in the Virginia Beach area and has the proper tool. The question is, does the store have one, or are they even aware of this? I have found the sales people at Music Go Round to often be quite ignorant about the stuff they get in.had a guy tell me that a German made Warwick had a none original bridge because he had never seen the two piece German bridge and tailpiece before, just the import Warwicks with Fender style bridges. States that "neck has a slight warp and is not easily adjustable so action is a bit high." The neck on these are quite easy to adjust, as long as you have a 1/4" female hex. Used Gibson EXPLORER BASS Bass Guitar Tobacco Sunburst | Bass Guitars | Music Go Roundĩ0's Gibson Tobias Renegade for $400 plus shipping could be a very good deal for a USA made bass with Bart pickups. Gibson Explorer bass in sunburst.quite rare, but again, not everyone's cup of tea. Used Gibson LES PAUL BASS Bass Guitar Red | Bass Guitars | Music Go Round Not everyone's up of tea, but these are pretty cool and sort of rare these days.$699 + shipping isn't bad: 90's Les Paul bass.essentially T-Bird pickups with a Les Paul body. ![]()
